Last year we had the unique opportunity to design an industrial and business campus here in Anchorage, including the master planning and architecture. We partnered with local company Western Enterprises for their newest Arctic Center with an eye towards inviting and engaging spaces for small business with a strong sense of place. The results are flexible, light filled spaces that lend themselves to startups, design studios, construction firms, small retail and a host of other uses. Construction is nearing completion on the first building, with the second starting construction this spring.
