WHY DESIGN IS IMPORTANT
The built environment is all around us and includes anything
imagined by people. And yet in Alaska, what we build pales in
comparison to our natural environment- the awe inspiring
backdrop that surrounds us everyday.
What we build in place of what was here matters. We can choose
ugly, or half-hearted. Or we can choose to design and build
with reverence and dignity and thoughtfulness.
When we decide to build on a property, it is a decision not taken lightly. We walk the property with you, observe, record and take our inspiration from it.
