A recent project to redesign a front entry. We added both an overhang at the garage doors, along with an appropriately scaled entry at the existing front door. The addition helped a house with a blank face and towering face have a more human scaled arrival and entry sequence. Lighting, gutters and snow-guards still to be added.
Front piers are on full 120" deep foundations.
Angled mass tapers the roof to a smaller overhang. New garage doors coming soon.
Snowguards, gutters and downspouts will take care of snow and ice.
