About the Practice

Led by Will Merriman (AIA, NCARB, LEED AP) William Merriman Architects LLC was founded to be singularly-focused on residential Architecture in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest in 2013.

Since our founding we have been privileged to work on various residential and commercial architecture projects, along with furniture, product and graphic designs for select clients. Our approach to the design process, background and skillset allows us to leverage our expertise for any design project you may have.

Our expertise is on carefully crafted new construction, thoughtful additions and renovations to existing homes and appropriate barns, sheds, outbuildings, and site designs that extend architecture and design beyond your front door.

Our method of practice is for those seeking to create a legacy with their project; it is a bespoke, intensive and uniquely tailored client collaboration, with an uncommon level of study and detail. Let us help you tell the story of your home.

The crafting of your project begins in our design studio and ends in the hands of the many talented and dedicated people we partner with in Alaska and beyond.
